Ojaleshi

The wine is fermented in traditional Oak Vats with wild yeast and the free draining wine is the only material used to make this complex delicate Semi Sweet Wine.
TBILVINO is one of major producers of this wine from this region and prides itself in the maintenance of such an exclusive wine from a very hard to find vineyard area.
Tasting Notes:
Color: The wine is Ruby in color showing nice purple tones.
Nose: The nose exhibits complex cherry type aromas as the main factor but it has an underlying spiciness that adds to the complexity.
Palate: The palate has delicate tannin structure that allows the sweetness to support the subtle varietal notes. The wine shows obvious spice on the palate and soft creamy wild yeast finish the wine pleasantly with the sweetness of the natural sugars.
Ageing:
This wine should be consumed within one year of purchase to truly enjoy. However if the wine is aged for a few years it will mature into an aperitif or nice after dinner drink.
A unique naturally sweet grape variety that grows at the west of Georgia. They say that Odjaleshi was enjoyed by the characters from Homer’s Iliad. Drinking easily, like French Beaujolais, but with bright cherry flavors.
